Cyber Crime and the Labor Market: Safeguarding Our Future

Creating a saver labor market for jobseekers, employers, agencies and recruiters

Welcome to the Cyber Crime and the Labor Market Conference: Safeguarding Our Future

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming conference, “Cyber Crime and the Labor Market: Safeguarding Our Future,” an event that emphasizes the urgent need to protect the labor market from the growing threat of cybercrime, fraud, identity theft and high risk for companies.

Why attend this conference?

The labor market is one of the primary targets for fraud, identity theft, and scams. Platforms such as LinkedIn, CV databases, and public online profiles are a goldmine for cybercriminals. The impacts are extensive: from fake applicants and job postings to identity fraud and company infiltration via fake recruiters. Every time you upload a CV or update your profile, there is a significant chance you could become a target for cybercriminals.

Moreover, criminals are using recruitment agencies to gain access to vital IT infrastructure and (personal) data of clients, consumers, citizens, companies, and inventories. The risks are high, and the urgency to act has never been greater.

What to Expect?

During the conference, international experts in risk management, cyber security, compliance, and recruitment will share their insights and experiences. They will highlight the widespread and urgent problem and discuss potential (radical) solutions. Besides keynote presentations, there will be informal discussions with peers on how to navigate this new market landscape.

Internationalization of the Dutch Labor Market

In 2023, the first edition of the “Internationalization of the Dutch Labor Market” congress took place in Rotterdam. This year, the second edition will be held on September 9th in The Hague. The issue of internationalization is not only politically charged but also essential for businesses to attract and retain talent. It brings both societal and social complexity, ranging from housing to healthcare.

During this congress, participants will gain valuable insights from facts, context, practical examples, best practices, critical discussions, and explorations of challenges, issues, and solutions. Topics will range from knowledge and labor migration to offshoring and nearshoring, and from housing, reallocation, and spouses to homelessness, economic growth, innovation, and productivity growth. Furthermore, all perspectives will be discussed, partly interactively but always inspiring and well-founded.

With top speakers and experts from the Netherlands, ranging from academia to the practice of labor mediation, from political interpretation to economic reality, and from labor migrants to knowledge workers. All perspectives will be discussed, partly interactively but always inspiring and well-founded.

Under the inspiring leadership of Diana Matroos, many interesting speakers will appear.

UNLEASH Spring London (suspended)

UNLEASH Group has concluded the global outbreak of Covid 19 placed them in a Force Majeure situation.
This follows the UK Government statement and the lack of clarity regarding large scale events with the severity of the situation. The primary factors being the views of their delegates, sponsors and exhibitor who face an exceptional number of national and corporate travel bans.

As a result, UNLEASH Spring at London ExCel on the 24th – 25th March 2020 is suspended.
