Global hiring experience leader Outmatch has acquired Harver, a leading provider of volume hiring software. Outmatch’s stack of assessment technology grows larger after acquiring Harver

Dallas-based Outmatch has struck again, acquiring Amsterdam-based Harver, commonly known as the number one pre-assessment software for volume hiring. Harver, founded by Dutchman Barend Raaff, has seen a rapid rise in the past few years. With its unique full suite candidate selection platform it has helped hundreds of leading companies such as Netflix, McDonalds and Peloton hire better and faster.

‘The #1 volume hiring solution’

“Harver’s one-of-a-kind platform for high-volume hiring creates an unprecedented offering that enables global enterprises to make smarter hires more efficiently,” Outmatch said in its official statement. “Candidates will experience a humanised, self-driven, and unbiased application process while employers capitalise on a streamlined, scalable solution that enables any high-volume hiring – from hourly to professional.”

“Together with Outmatch, we will accelerate this journey, adding additional matching capabilities and bringing our technology to professional volume hiring.”

While originally established in the Netherlands with a handful of people, Harver now has a global team of over 100, spread across Amsterdam, New York, London & Sri Lanka “The Harver platform provides a seamless application experience from apply to hire that is fast, fun, and most of all fair,” said Barend Raaff, CEO of Harver. “Together with Outmatch, we will accelerate this journey, adding additional matching capabilities and bringing our technology to professional volume hiring.”

‘An unprecedented offering’

Outmatch has steadily built up a staggering recruiting arsenal with which it’s outmatching (pardon the pun) most of its competitors. In September, it acquired Launchpad, a recruitment automation platform combined with the option for on-demand video interviewing. In October, it acquired FurstPerson, a pre-hire talent assessment, simulation and interview platform. And in November, it acquired Checkster, an automated reference checker.

Across its suite of solutions that now include assessments, video interviewing and reference checking, Outmatch expects to screen nearly 25 million candidates this year for its 1,300 global customers.

It is all part of a combined effort Outmatch has dubbed the industry’s first and only ‘Hiring Experience Stack’. Across its suite of solutions that now include assessments, video interviewing and reference checking, Outmatch expects to screen nearly 25 million candidates this year for its 1,300 global customers. “It’s an unprecedented offering that optimises the candidate experience,” said Zack Birkelbach, Outmatch’s Chief Customer Officer.
